Vintage 1970s Bennington Pottery David Gil Terracotta Chicken Trivet/plaque 1964

Vintage Bennington Pottery by David Gil terracotta chicken (or rooster?) trivet or plaque.Has some minor wear, but I think it´s in pretty good shape. It seems like it was lightly used or maybe just displayed.I did not clean it for fear that I would damage it. I rubbed off some scuffs, but that´s all.The number is not the year it was made--it is the design number. I contacted Bennington Pottery and they said that the terracotta was fabricated in the 1970s. There are still rubber feet on the bottom, so it can be used as a trivet or a plaque.
