Antique Victorian Croton Velvet Watch Box

This beautiful watch box was made for a Croton watch. The watch that once graced this box was timed and cased in New York. The company was established in 1878. The box is made of stylized brass and reminds me of a large clamshell. The bottom is made of sturdy leather. There is minor wear due to age. Wonderful piece. 98. ~Enjoy!
