Original Antique Guillermo Cini Sterling Silver Moon Stone Flanked by 2 griffins facing outward, their feathers curl under the stone with their ends curling and tying into a fleur de lis looking bow with ribbons from the flower garlands at its base. It is topped with a fiery torch.The moonstone is mounted with a lively heavy silver rope bezel. Sun and Moon Brooch.Mid century from 1940s to early 1950s. Early markers mark. Stone is Clear to opaque light white with blue tinge to it as the light hits it. Color depends on lighting and background. Moonstones with this colloring are highly sought after by collectors. Unfortunately our phone camera, background and lighting to do it justice. You can see a hint of the blue in the proper left bottom corner of the stone. This blue glow effect can be seen in the rest of stone under right light and conditions.Brooch is in good condition with minor wear.
