Modernist Vintage Engraved Japan Saltwater Cultured Pearl Necklace- Sterling

This is a lovely retro modernist Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl necklace.The pearls range from 5.50-6.00mm and have great luster with some blemishes andbright rosy pink overtones. A few flat spots resulting from the culturing process.Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a modernist design with hand engraving and milgrain. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 18.50 inch. From Japan 1940´s-1960´s.All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
