Vintage Australia Black Opal Pendant on Fine Gold Chain -RARE!! -approx. 3-4 ct.

This is a very rare piece - one of a kind, to be precise! It was brought back in the late 70s from one of the Opal mines in Australia and a jeweler in Southern California added the 14k gold v-prong to allow it to hang as a pendant. It has been very well preserved, stored and cherished for the last 45 plus years! It is incredibly brilliant and the fires and lights within this opal’s black stone are extraordinary! Looking for a new home to continue the love and appreciation for such a rare specimen!!!The dimensions are shown in photos in both cm and inches.
