I made a hooded coat from a brand new Minsen (a type of Japanese silk fabric).It was a kimono made of sturdy fabric that had never been worn.I intentionally left off buttons so you can wear it loosely and comfortably.There is a 3cm overlap, so I can add buttons if you wish (free of charge).I would suggest 3-4 buttons.
