Vintage Anchor Hocking Waffle Clear Sandwich Plate/Serving Platter 14 .This is a depression cut glass plate. This 14″ round clear serving platter is elegant and durable. This Serving Platter/Sandwich Tray is in the Waffle pattern in clear Glass. The detailed Sawtooth edge looks like lace around the rim. The design is in a Diamond pattern that meets ribbed panels that look like an open fan. Waffle Clear looks like cut crystal, but it is called Depression Pressed Glass or Patterned Glass. Waffle Clear Sandwich Tray/Serving Platter was made from 1938 – 1944. The design was created towards the end of the Great Depression. Anchor Hocking was created when Hocking Glass merged with Anchor Glass in 1937.This is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or marks.This is from the B.L.
