Antique W.H. Grindley & Co. England Royal Ironstone Pitcher, Shaving Mug & Vase

It´s not often we see a combined set of W.H. Grindley (Royal Ironstone China). This handpainted trio features a cranberry band with gold linings on a white background. There is the pitcher, or ewer - the shaving mug, and the small vase - all in varying degrees of condition. The Grindley trademark is on the base of each piece. In our family since before 1900. The pitcher stands at 7 inches from base to spout and is approximately 6 1/2 inches across from spout to handle and maybe 4 inches wide at the base. The cranberry trim shows a few imperfections, the most notable shown near the handle. There is also evidence of crazing (light cracks) in several places. This is NOT repair work, but sometimes seen on china of this age. The shaving mug has no problems. It´s 3 1/2 inches high with a 3 1/2 inch diameter. The vase shows minor paint imperfections and some crazing as well. We speculate it was used to hold combs, toothbrushes, and the like. It stands at 5 1/4 inches, is 2 X 3 inches sq.
