Staffordshire Dalmation Figurines, Set of 2

This is a gorgeous set of 2 ceramic Staffordshire Dalmatians. The large dog is sitting proudly on his cobalt blue oval base. The small dog is lying down on his cobalt blue rectangular base. They both are wearing a gold collar. Staffordshire figurines were made from 1740 to the mid-1900’s. Most Staffordshire figurines are not marked. The Staffordshire dogs were decorative items in most English homes during the Victorian era and were placed on the mantle or on tables. They are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is a small imperfection on the large dog’s side, see photos. They both have a very tiny scuff on their noses.The large dog measures: 8 ¼” tall X 6” long X 2 34” wide.The small dog measures: 3 ¼” tall X 5 ¼” long.Professionally appraised.
