BOMA Horse Head Lidded Box, Made in Canada, Northwest Coastal Indians, Equine

A beautiful Dark Chocolate Brown round Trinket Box by Boma of Canada. Signed by Artist Thomas R McPhee (initials TRM). This is a heavy box with North American cultural designs, a gorgeous high relief satin finish Horse Head against lightly textured ground on lid, low relief cattails and reed against lightly textured ground, satin top and bottom borders around sides. Measures 2 1/2 high and 3 3/4 in diameter. Material looks to be a composite simulating carved stone or wood, interior has curved bottom. In excellent condition, original gold foil Boma label on bottom, Boma incised on side and TRM initials and Logo on bottom of horse head.
