The raised pattern is highly polished against a bloomed or matte background.It measures 1 1/16 inch long by almost 1/4 inch at the widest point at the center. It is shaped as an elongated oval.The clasp is designed the same way as a modern safety pin, dating it to the pre-1920s.It is not marked and was professionally tested for gold content.
