Vintage Emmons Style Brooch Purple Rhinestones Navettes Open Back Filigree

For your consideration is this magical brooch featuring luscious deep purple amethyst like glass rhinestones. This lovely piece shares several characteristics of Caroline Emmons jewelry produced during the early 1970s, but I have been unable to find an exact match. This lovely piece measures 2.1 inches long by 1.17 inches tall. Each of the 8 navette cut rhinestones measure 15 mm long and have open back facets. The round stone measures 6.4 mm in diameter and has a closed back setting . It has a modern style safety catch, round hinge, and straight brooch backing. There is no makers mark present on the piece. It reminds me of some mystical land filled with fairies and other mythical creatures. Would be the perfect accoutrement to a Lord of the Rings style cloak or some tailored look.
