Decorative dark brown glossy faux lizard scale hardbound boards are illustrated with a gold lizard and text in gold gilt. The book is in perfect condition as is actually brand new (was in original packaging). The spine, boards, and corners are in perfect condition. The spine is straight with no wear to the top and bottom of the back strip. Hinges are firmly attached with no cracking to the endpapers. Text block is solid with no slant. Interior pages are in excellent, new condition with no tears, chips, cracks, or previous owner marks. 161 pages including references, index to genera, index to species and subspecies.
