The vase is presented in an Art Deco essence with a very simple streamlined shape with a completely glossy black field with a ring of gold gilt at the bottom and at the top.The vase measures approximately 9.5" tall by 4.5" wide and is in excellent condition with no visible anomalies.The Shibata Japanese logo is printed on the underside of the piece in gold gilt as well.Shibata porcelain pottery usually is known for their elaborate bird and landscape designing, so this particular Shibata vase is a very unique approach and a departure from their expected norm.Blank Shibata vases are rare.This vase would add an elegant accent and an Art Deco flavor to any environment.
