Vintage Figurine THE RAKE 131 Made in England Hand Painted

Gorgeous hand painted porcelain figurine made by the world renowned & Co Ltd. Marked with their unicorn logo and raised numeral 131 along with "THE RAKE 131". & Co used this logo with this lettering from circa 1956 - 1968.It is based on a Staffordshire figurine from the early 1800s -but wearing 1700s attire, amid the cards and dice of gambling strewn at his feet, symbols of his rakish behavior. His cute miniature spaniel looks up at him imploringly.It is in excellent condition and has no visible flaws of any kind.Height 7.5 inchesVintage from the 1950sBox 1
