This 50 CSA Banknote is in excellent condition to be 156 years old. There are no rips, tears, or pin holes in this almost uncirculated condition bill. It was issued February 17th 1864. There was 1,671,444 50 note issued in 1864. This is number 28,485 one of the fist thousands print that year. It is hand sighed as well as hand cut. The majority of these notes were cut by the wife´s and children of the soldiers.
