Last year I built a couple of gnomes for holiday gifts, and they were a big hit. Often, I paint them with ethnic hats, like Norwegian, Swedish, Polish, German, Ukraine, etc. I can make skiing gnomes, show showing gnomes, miner gnomes and such. Since last winter I´ve made perhaps a couple of dozen of them. I love special orders for using ethnicity hats, but also phrases, colors, specific sizes. I tend to overbuild my projects, like fairy houses, tables, signs, etc. No two are ever the same.
