Vintage 1960s Gino Ruggeri Faux Green Jade Chinese War Horse Sculpture

Vintage carved faux jade Chinese war horse sculpture figurine attributed to Gino Ruggeri for Wony, Italy. Artistically created with extraordinary detail, the horse fades from a deep emerald green in color to a creamy white with the same shading and translucency as authentic jade. The figure is attached to a rectangular resin base with foliate and scrolled relief. A large and substantial piece standing approximately 11” in height, the sculpture measures 12” in length, 4” wide, and weights just over 6 pounds. Dating to the mid-1960s and obviously well cared for across the decades, it’s in beautiful vintage condition with no chips, cracks, stains, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found.
