Frank Whiting Sterling Silver Pair Candle Holders 5449 8 Vintage Candlesticks

Pair of antique sterling silver candle holders. They are marked on the underside Sterling 5449 along with the W mark for Frank M. Whiting. They stand approximately 8.5 inches tall. They have a beautiful engraved pattern, with a monogram, on the side.While the marking does not indicate that they are weighted, I believe they may be. One weighs 193g; the other weighs 225g. The lighter one makes a rattling noise when shaken, as if it has less of whatever was used to weight it inside. The heavier candlestick has some damage around the lip (as if the lip was unfolded?). There are also a few small dents around the sides of both candlesticks. They still display well, though!Location:C2
