ARTS AND CRAFTS ERA ANTIQUE AMPHOR BROOCHArts and Crafts Era antique amphor brooch made using the repousse and hammeringtechniques on bronzed mixed metals (copper and brass), textured, and accented byturquoise patination in the recessed areas of the background.The overall surface has a beautiful gingerbread finish. The amphor is a bitwarmer than the background and likely made of stamped copper.The brooch is rectangular. It measures approximately 2 5/8 of an inch by 1 3/4of an inch by 3/8 of an inch deep at the center.It closes with a simple C clasp. This mixed metals antique brooch is inexcellent condition. It is estimated to date from the early 1900s and isunsigned.The green patina is by design and should not be removed.Please see the photos for details and email us any questions.
