Antique 1800s Austro-Hungarian 800 silver gold gilt natural gemstones pendant

Excellent antique condition with some rubbing away of gold vermeil overlay. There is an 1800s Austro-Hungarian hallmark, purity mark, and makers mark on the smaller bail of this piece but they are incredibly difficult to make out apart from the town hallmark P for Pest (Budapest) and 4 indicating at least 750 silver. The town code contained within its own stamp or punch narrows the date down to between 1867-1872. This piece has been extensively tested and is guaranteed to be solid silver testing in the 800 range (see acid test results). Gemstones are all natural and include bright green emeralds, pyrope garnets, an amethyst in the center surrounded by genuine seed pearls, and dangling drops of mother of pearl. Every element of this stunner showcases the handiwork of its creator with hand done etching, twisted rope filigree, and other metal work. Weight is 6.88 grams.
