Antique CHINESE ZODIAC SNAKE SHOUSHAN Carved Soapstone Figural SEAL‎ Chop

This Awesome Antique, Hand Carved Soapstone ~ Chinese Seal or Chop~ was once a part of a Set of Seals Depicting the 12 Chinese Zodiac Animals ~This Great Seal was Intricately Carved from a Single Piece of Soapstone with the Natural Colors of Earthtone Browns, Greens and Muted Reds ~ Rectangular in Shape & Cool to the Touch ~ This Stamp measures 3" tall, 2" wide and 1-1/4" thick ~ it weighs 250 grams ~ 8.8 ouncesThis Great ~ SNAKE ~ Seal has a Calligraphy Inscription with an Encircled Seal on the Front ~ All four sides of the Stamp displays a Unique Hand Etched Scene (In the complete set each piece placed side by side depicted one large scene ~ a different scene for each face)If you are a collector this would be a great piece of a larger set of 12.The Base of this Beautifully Carved Stamp has a Unknown Message in Calligraphy ~ A Red Powdery Residue remains within the grooves of the carving.Please Examine ALL Pictures Carefully and Consider Them an Important Part of the Description.
