This unique and lovely ring is from the early Victorian period, ca 1870. Belcher set garnet and seed pearls enhance the carved rose gold band. This ring lies flat to the finger, and is a fairly wide band. It is typically English, appropriately marked, and is in excellent condition for its age. There are no dents - any aberrations you see are reflections in the gold. The band is somewhat thin and a bit out of round (see photo) but completely wearable.
