Vintage 70s Signed DeGrazia Hand Painted Cactus Blossom Leather Necklace

It hangs from 20 ½” soft, supple, medium brown sueded leather tether with carved medium brown stained wooden beads between the twelve faux “squash blossoms” which have blue, yellow goldenrod, red, marmalade orange flowers with green bits of foliage painted on the creamy white background with tips of earthy goldenrod; the pendant is approximately 3” x 2 ¾” and bears a sticker on the back reading: “Authorized by DeGrazia Gallery In The Sun, 6300 N. Swan, Tucson, Ariz.”. The clasp is a loop of leather that the bead tip fits through. It is in excellent condition for it´s age.The artist is Ettore Ted De Grazia. DeGrazia was of Italian ancestry, arrived in Arizona before it became a state. He is known for his colorful images of Native American children of the American Southwest and other Western scenes.
