Vintage 1950’s “ Bag By Josef” Silver Hand Beaded Purse Made In Belgium.

Bag By Josef Vintage circa 1950’s silver beaded purse. Sold by G. Fox & Co. in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. Handmade in Belgium. This finely beaded purse has a silver beaded swirl design throughout the front and back. It has a brass kisslock closure and a beaded strap handle. The strap has line or two of separating beading. Lining has possible lipstick stains. Maybe a bead or two missing from body of purse however in good vintage shape. Inside is satin or silk with a small mirror found in the inside pocket. Measures approx 7” tall x 9” width x 2” depth. Mother cleaning out her closet. She’s always kept a pet free / smoke free home.
