EXC 1962 Barbie Train Travel Black Vinyl Case Clean Beauty Ponytail Mattel

This item is for the collector, not a child.I am the original owner of this vintage 1962 black vinyl Barbie doll train travel zippered case.The zipper is perfect with no rust or grime.The entire case is a clean beauty.The inside, as you can see in the photos and video, is super clean with no vinyl cracks, rips, ink pen marks or stains.There are flash reflections on the shiny vinyl that are hard to avoid when photographing.I loved (and still love!) my Barbie vintage dolls and accessories, so took care of them. This case is in the nicest condition I have ever seen over the years!The 4 feet on the bottom have no rust.The black vinyl outer case has no rips or cracks.There are scratches on the black vinyl here and there, but mostly on the back. The case always stored flat on the back side, so the back black vinyl will always have scratches, unless it was never used.Condition is excellent, despite scratches on the back and age.The scratches are seen when you tip the case slightly at an angle.The handle fastener has no rust (they typically do). There are a few scratches on the front, but none that damage the Barbie logos on the lid.Depth 3.5”; width 11.5”; height 10.75” plus handle.The handle is perfectly formed and fully functional like the zipper.No smoking home.I ship same or next business day.If you are a collector, you should buy the nicest condition vinyl case you can afford, as they cannot be repaired.Looks great on a shelf on display.
