Vintage Bedouin / Yemeni pendant /amulet / hirz necklace with large Butterscotch Amber beads with hollow silver plated ribbed beads in between .Unsigned /unmarked ...Bakelite tested for simichrome and are beautifully aged with variation/ darkening of color on the edges which would only come with age and exposure to heat and light.Materials :Bakelitesilver plated or very lower grade silver metal Measures :Total necklace is 37 inches in length x 7/8 inches max width ( Somebody has added the beads through long chain ,originally it must be woven through a thread ~ just pendant and bead portion is . Bakelite beads are approx 23 inches in length ) ~ Bakelite beads are approx 1 inches x 3/4 inches max width . Weighs 195 grams on my weighing scale .Condition :´Considering the age I will say the necklace is in good vintage condition with heavy age patina to metal ~ No major cracks or chips to the beads , only for some surface wear ~ Heavy age patina to silver plated beads ~ As mentioned above beads are restrung through a chain which is added later on . Please Note ~ As vintage items are previously loved /used please do expect some minor wear like surface wear /dents /dings and metal discoloration .
