Vintage 1900s Volup Size Edwardian Black Skirt With Pocket, Victorian Mourning

Lovely vintage black mourning skirt from the early 1900s, possibly late 1800s with a side pocket. Looks and feels like a cotton or cotton silk blend. Has black silk trim. Hooks and eyes up the back and there are hooks all round the waist for a shirt to hook to. No label. A rare volup large size, see measurements below.Excellent to great vintage condition. Especially for its age. Still very wearable, though gently of course. There is a scattering of little holes, most about half a pea sized, the largest maybe a whole pea sized. Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.Waist: 32.5 Hip: loose but up to about 45 Waist to bottom hem: 39 Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items.
