Cobalt Blown Glass Bowl Molded and set into Metal Vine/Leaves EncasementThis is a very unique and Stunning Cobalt Blue Blown Glass Bowl Molded and set into a Metal Vine/Leaves Encasement.The bowl is fitted into the metal encasement while it is still hot and forming to become one piece with the metal. This is very similar to an Art Deco styling and method but with a contemporary, modern presentation and design.The metal encircling the bowl is black and shaped into a vine and leaf swirl which wraps around the bowl, almost like a basket, making the exposed glass bulge out.The bowl measures approximately 9" across by 5,75" high. The bowl is unmarked and in excellent condition with no anomalies.This bowl is a work of art and would display well in any environment, especially near a light source.
