Rare 500 Canal Bank Of New Orleans 1850’s Bank Note-Extremely High Denomination

For sale is a 1850’s 500 Canal Bank of New Orleans Bank Note. This is a Rare High Denomination 500 note. With the vast majority of older 1800’s notes being lower denominations. This is quite a scarce piece. Very few of these 500 notes were made in the 1800’s, due solely to the high denomination being unusual to have, with only a few thousand still existing today. Condition: circulated, as shown. This note is over 170 years old. I paid 1,600 for this rare note years ago, asking 1,200. Prefer not to negotiate, since I’m taking a loss. Would be an excellent addition to any coin or currency collection.
