Antique 1930´s Art Deco 1/20 14K Gold Filled Cameo made by AMCO(the A.Micallef & Company)known for producing high quality jewelry,is sought after and collectible!The Carved Shell Cameo has a beautiful color combination of peach-orange.Please see the photo´s of it glowing like the moon!There is a central detailed raised white portrait of a ladies profile( facing right).The weight of the gold is about 5% (1/20) of the entire Cameo. This was a very common technique being used in the Art Deco Era as the Gold Filled pieces looked like real gold and is also very durable.Details-Rope detailing encircling the bezel,which holds the Cameo,is designed to look like a decorative twisted rope border. This adds nice visual interest and texture to the Cameo.
