A matte finish on jewelry is a muted brushed finish. I purchased these earrings from Lisa Jenks herself at one of her earliest jewelry shows at the Javits Center in New York over 40 years ago for my store in Beverly Hills but I could not part with them and kept them for myself. Lisa Jenks jewelry is indeed art. Many of her pieces were actually in the Museum of Modern Art.
